Having completed thousands of closings, our office understands the importance of a solid working relationship with real estate brokers. We try very hard to foster business relationships with brokers, understanding that it is in their current and future clients’ best interests that we have a certain familiarity. We love it when brokers make us their preferred settlement agent, because we know that when there is a strong relationship between attorney and broker, the client benefits.
3. Online, Secure Resources
We are diligent in complying with the latest Consumer Financial Protection Bureau regulations by employing American Land Title Association’s best practices. All of our communications that involve non-public personal information are sent by encrypted email or facsimile.
Your clients can submit secured personal data in preparation for their closing, and contact our closing team with any additional questions, all through our website, whenever they like. 5. Your Check
Pursuant to the Good Funds Settlement Act, realtor checks will be available on receipt of all monies associated with the transaction and recordation of the pertinent documents. Upon recordation, our post closing dept will email you to notify you that your check is ready.
Should you choose to pick up your check, one of our Zdenek Law Firm team members will be in the office every Monday through Friday between 9:00am & 5:00pm. If you would like your check mailed, then we are happy to place in the mail the day after closing. Please note, you should expect to receive the check within 5-7 days after closing. You will be asked how you would like your check handled.
If you would like us to disburse commissions pursuant to a disbursement authorization, such authorization MUST contain language that the brokerage SHALL be responsible for filing any 1099’s associated with any checks cut to anyone other than the brokerage directly.
